Sockeye is considered one of the best-tasting varieties of salmon, and it is a healthy food choice that is an excellent source of heart-healthy omega-3’s. We’ve enhanced the natural salmon flavor with a light dusting of sweet-heat seasoning. Cedar plank cooking adds a delightful woody richness to the fish.
Oven Instructions: Cook from Frozen. Preheat oven to 400°F. Remove all packaging, but leave on cedar plank. Place Barbecue Salmon, and Cedar Plank, on an aluminum foil lined baking tray. Bake for 26-32 minutes, until an internal temperature of 145°F is reached. Ovens vary, so additional time may be needed.
Grilling Instructions: Cook from thawed. Preheat grill to medium heat. Remove from all packaging, but leave on cedar plank. Place Barbecue Salmon, and Cedar Plank, directly on grill grates and grill for 25-32 minutes, until an internal temperature of 165°F is achieved. Grills vary, so additional time may be needed.
